How it works
Upload your video
Any MP4, MOV, or WebM. Wide scenes with something to travel across work best: skylines, desks, storefronts, spreads.
Pick the direction
Left to right or right to left, whichever suits the composition and reading direction of the shot.
Download the gliding clip
The pan spans the entire clip length at a steady speed. Audio passes through untouched.
What this blueprint does
Slider footage looks expensive because it usually is: a rail, a fluid head, and a reshoot every time the move is off. The look itself is simple, a frame traveling steadily across a scene. This blueprint recreates it from a static shot. The video is slightly magnified, then the visible window glides across it in your chosen direction for the full length of the clip. The result reads as a slow, controlled pan, not a digital wobble.
What you get
Your clip with a steady, full-length lateral pan in the direction you chose, exported as a platform-ready MP4 with the original audio intact.
Who uses it
B-roll editors
Give static establishing shots the motion energy the rest of the cut has.
Local business marketers
Make a phone shot of the storefront or interior feel like a produced walkthrough.
Content repurposers
Add life to stills-heavy or locked-off source material before it hits the feed.
Frequently asked questions
How fast is the pan?
The glide covers its full travel across the length of your clip, so a longer video pans more slowly. The speed always reads as a deliberate camera move.
Why is the frame slightly zoomed?
The pan needs somewhere to travel, so the footage is magnified about 15 percent and the visible window moves across the extra width. Keep essential detail away from the far edges.
Does it work on vertical video?
Yes. The glide pans across whatever frame you give it, landscape or portrait, though the travel distance is shorter on narrow frames.
What does it cost?
Camera Glide runs on your plan compute minutes like any transcode. The free tier includes 100 minutes a month, no credit card required.
