What this blueprint does
Speed is the most underrated edit there is. The same footage reads dreamy at half speed, efficient at 1.5x, and hypnotic as a timelapse. The catch has always been the audio: naive speed changes shift the pitch, so voices turn into chipmunks or slide into slow-motion growls. This blueprint changes the video speed and corrects the audio tempo in the same pass, so a 2x clip sounds like someone talking quickly, not someone breathing helium.

Frequently asked questions
Will voices sound weird?
No. The audio tempo is corrected in the same pass, so speech keeps its natural pitch at every speed. A 2x voice sounds fast, not squeaky.
What happens to the video length?
It scales with the speed: 0.5x doubles the duration, 2x halves it, 4x quarters it. Compute minutes are billed on the processing, not the output length.
Can I speed up a video that has no audio?
Yes. Silent clips retime exactly the same way; there is just no audio track to correct.
